Understanding Chatbots

You may have come across the term chatbots, but what are they and why they are a great opportunity. Well, a chatbot is actually a service that is powered mainly by the rules. Other times, a chatbot can be powered by artificial intelligence. This chatbot service can be interacted with through an interface.
This service could consist of different kinds of things that can range from functional all the way to the fun ones. It is possible to have it live on chat products such as text messages, Telegram, slack and even Facebook messenger and so on.
Today, businesses have got online trees, even though many people don't like them. It is much easier to use the text based kind of response because it is faster. Sometimes it is even possible to chat live.
Visualizing chatbot may not be easy. If you want to buy something online, then you go to a website and browse through till you find what you want so as to make the purchase. If such a website has a bot, all you have to do is send a message on Facebook where you state what it is you want and Instead of browsing hundreds of items, you will only have a conversation with the bot making it more like what happens at the retail shops.
Buying items isn't the only place bots can be applied. There are areas such as weather, grocery, news, life advice, finance, scheduling and so on where you can use them. There are so many possibilities when it comes to bots.
Its importance
You may be wondering why anyone should use a bot. It is cool and the technology is quite advanced and it is worth the effort. Chatbots are quite a great opportunity today.
The reason why it is so important to use chatbots is due to the fact that many people today prefer using messenger apps than social networks. People use messaging apps than the social media today and this is a great turning point. This makes messaging apps future platforms and they will be important in the further development of bots.
Chatbots tend to be a very big deal since there is a great business opportunity for those willing to take the risk.
How they work
The chatbots are able to interact and answer questions using artificial intelligence. Usually, they are chatbots that can be able to respond to very specific things and if you don't say what is specified then it may not be able to respond. However, there are yet others that don't require one to be too specific. This chatbot can understand the commands and the language as well.
Chatbot has been introduced in different fields and this includes distance teaching. Mobile learning is important, especially in areas that don't have complete educations systems in place or areas with a teacher shortage like the developing countries. The mobile learning bot is created in a way that it can interact with the children and offer guidance in learning.

Internet And Businesses Online - What To Have In Mind When Starting An Online Business Opportunity

Online business opportunities are becoming more popular. New entrepreneurs are using social media and blogging services to help create income for themselves. People are tired of working for a living and they want to take control of their future. However, although starting an online business opportunity has a lot of great potential, if you are not educated properly on certain things, you will fail. Today, I will share with you some things to have in mind before you try to start an online business opportunity.
1. You will have to build your own website
Poor websites are one of the reasons why so many people fail. I would recommend that you start by going to website-building services that are free before going to the paid services. You must master the art of creating a website that will be attractive to your market. I would also recommend that you take the time to research how to construct a website. There is a science to creating a website, from the domain name to the choice of color.
2. Find the right Domain name
Before you pick a domain name, you must first find the type of niche to be involved in. Once you find the niche you want to promote, you can match the domain name with the niche you have chosen. You can identify your niche by writing a list of 11 to 17 names that describe your niche. According to business magazine, it is better to keep your domain name short and simple.
3. Getting traffic to your website
In order to see success in your company, you must have an effective marketing campaign. You can get this done by using social media and blogging services. I recommend that you go to your nearest library and buy some books on how to run a successful marketing campaign.
In my opinion, to have a successful marketing campaign you must:
1. Know your audience!
2. Take notes from your competitors!
3. Do not become dated, always stay up to date with the latest trends!
4. Do not do it alone, get the right training
Seek help from experts who have been in the field before.
Experts can help you avoid common pitfalls. Fortunately for you, there are organizations of experts who offer amazing pieces of information, in the form of free reports, to those who are serious about building a successful brand by way of an online business opportunity.

How To Make Money Using an Udemy Online Teaching Course

A few decades ago, it was hard to find a good teacher. The only option that you had was to look for one in your area because the Internet was not available at that time. Nowadays, the internet has made it a lot easier to learn from the comfort of home. If you have been thinking of taking a certain course to hone your skills, we suggest that you check out Udemy. Let's find out how people make money on Udemy by launching courses through websites. Read on to know more.
What Is Udemy?
Basically, this platform brings both students and teachers together. As a matter of fact, Udemy is one of the top platforms for online courses. It offers a lot of free tools and support for instructors to develop courses and make money from them.

For course creation, Udemy won't charge you any fee. On the other hand, for selling, you do have to consider the revenue model offered by the platform. Let's find out more about the revenue model.
Instructor promotion
After a lead generation, the entire revenue goes to the course instructor. For instance, if a lead is generated through the coupon code given by the course creator, the instructor will get the revenue.
Organic traffic
If the course buyer comes to the platform through organic traffic, 50% of the revenue will go to the course creator. And the rest will go to the website. So, there is a lot of money to be made even if you don't use other means to get the word about your courses.
Other revenue sharing model
This revenue sharing ratio can be between 25% and 97%. Actually, the ratio is based on the fact whether the customer comes to the platform via deals, ads or affiliates. So, based on these factors, the revenue can be more or less.
Resources for Udemy
Udemy helps you throughout the process. Whether you are going to create a course or you want to promote, the platform has resources for you. Udemy offers tons of free resources that help you make your course a success. Ideal Solutions To Success Online

If you have ever spent time looking for ideal solutions to success online, you could find yourself very frustrated. You found that there are basic ways to succeed in this line of work. You know that online work isn't hard, physical labor. Working online is easy in that there isn't a lot of physical work involved. People who work hard as builders, factory workers, office personnel and in administration, must work hard and produce good results or they no longer have a job. Online work isn't hard physically. However, it takes tenacity, perseverance, and a little knowledge to be successful. Perhaps herein lies part of your annoyance. Let's look at some things that bring frustration into your ideal online performance. The items are not listed in any particular order of difficulty or ordered frustration levels.
Number 1, Building a Website
The number one thing that frustrates many people and keeps them from being successful online is building a website. This one thing kept me from being successful online years ago. When you find the right training building a website can be really easy. You don't have to know HTML to build one today. You can learn how to make a website at certain locations on the Internet. There are places where you can learn how to make a free website.
Number 2, Finding a Domain Name
The best way to relieve frustration from finding a domain name is to first find the niche you want to promote. The name of your site needs to match the niche you have chosen. So, the way you keep this from being frustrating is to identify your niche, and then write a list of 10 to 15 names that describe your niche. It's like choosing a title for a book, the title must tell what the book is about. Same with your domain name. It must tell what your niche is about. I prefer to stick with a .com. It's just a personal preference that you don't have to adhere to.
Number 3, Getting Site Ready
Until you learn, getting your site ready for search engine optimization can be really frustrating. Actually, it can be next to impossible if you don't have the proper training. Again, I have a page for you to review that explains the ins and outs of preparing your site for SEO. Again, you can write articles, use social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. The big question you need to ask is, "Where are you going to get the training and knowledge on how to make these ideas work for you?"
Number 4, Getting Traffic
The number one goal for any marketing site is to drive traffic to it. There are many ways to do this, but the only way I choose to do this is by writing good content for my website. What if you can't write, or at least you think you can't? Many sites offer training on how to write. The training on a few sites is phenomenal. Every bit of the training is to help you build a site, monetize it and then drive traffic to it. You can learn so many ideas on what to write that you will never run out of something to write about. Getting traffic is almost done for you. All you have to do is follow directions.
Number 5, Training
Before I found a helpful site, training was my nemesis. The lack of training defeated me every time and cost me money. The training I have gotten has given me a handle on success. I have learned how to succeed because I have been trained well. Following are a few things I have been able to find online:
Certification Courses: 5 Levels
1. Getting Started
2. Build Your own Traffic Producing Website
3. Making Money!
4. Mastering Social Engagement
5. Achieving Maximum Success Through Content Creation
Each level has several courses and the training available to make you successful! I repeated most of the lessons. Some were simple but needed more exploring. Others were new to me and my then limited expertise. I can't believe how much knowledge is packed into these lessons. Yet the progress from one step to the next is given in easy steps for those who aren't technologically proficient when they begin the courses.
You Get All the Training
Every site that I tried before this would promise they could teach me how to be successful. What they taught me was that I needed to hire a group of professional online gurus to help me build a successful online business. I paid good money to learn this, too. Their ads said that even a monkey could learn how to use their program. I guess that I'm not as smart as a monkey because I couldn't begin to understand what they were trying to teach me. "You'll never believe how easy it is to make money online," their ads read. I learned the hard way, out of pocketbook hard way, that paper will lie still and let you write anything on it. At least the paper they wrote on did! I was never able to follow more than the first couple steps. Not nearly enough to learn anything. However, all that has changed now. Since I found this site, I have learned how to be successful online. All I've done since I've been here is grow and grow. That's where I am. That was what I was looking for in the first place. Can I tell you that I found a place where you can work at your pace, make the amount of money you want to make, and work when and where you want to.
Work for Yourself
The best boss you will ever have is YOU. Working for yourself online doesn't require lots of energy. You don't have to have a specific location where you go to work. With today's technological advances, you can work from nearly anywhere. I prefer to work at home with my family nearby. That's where you can find yourself, too. Are you ready for the change? Are you ready to be your own boss? Then don't wait! Visit me to begin today!

Reasons You May Be Afraid To Start Your Own Online Business

People all over the world would like to build their own online business, but they are afraid. Today I want to share with you the top 5 reasons as to why I think people are afraid to start their own business.
#1 Debt
The fear of going into debt is a major reason as to why people are afraid of entrepreneurship. If you have a lot of student loans or credit card bills, it may be difficult to start an online business because most online businesses require an initial investment. What I would recommend you do is focus on repaying all of the debts you have currently before joining an online business. It is better to start a brand when every other obligation is met, in my opinion.
#2 Family Obligations
The early years of building a start-up can be very time consuming. Some people fear that they will have to sacrifice too much time away from their families in order to get their business going. What I would recommend you do is have a conversation with your loved ones and ask them if they will be fine with you dedicating time away from them in order to build your own brand.
#3 No Benefits
Some people fear the thought of losing their benefits, such as health insurance provided by their employer. They might have a family member with a health condition who is dependent on the insurance. I would advise you to talk to the current health insurance provider that you and your loved ones have in order to see how much it will cost to keep the insurance if you were to leave your job.
#4 Undecided
Other people are undecided as to the type of online business to join. They fear that if they join, it might be a huge mistake. What I recommend you do is take the time to figure out your strengths, weaknesses, and passion. Write down what you would like to sell as an entrepreneur and find opportunities that will highlight your strengths as an entrepreneur.
#5 Economy
Most people are afraid of starting their own brand because they feel that the economy is in a bad place. This belief is reinforced by politicians and journalists, in my opinion. In my opinion, the economy is always at a great state. The reason why I say this is because there is always a group of people who are in demand for something. Smart business people have the ability to find demand and fill it with supply. In my opinion, any entrepreneur can succeed in any state of the economy if they simply educate themselves on successful marketing techniques.

When a Good Review Can Hurt Your Business

Every business owner knows that the key to staying open is positive reviews by word of mouth. With the advent of the Internet, that word of mouth has gone online, and now the vast majority of customers check online reviews before making a purchasing decision. You'd think that getting a good review would be a good thing in all cases. And you would be wrong.
An online review only works for a business if it's legitimate and earned through an honest assessment of the product sold, customer service involved, price and other important considerations that go into making a purchasing decision. Unfortunately, there has been an uncomfortable rise in the number of instances when an online review is placed by an unscrupulous owner in hopes of gaining more positive attention and more sales for their business. It's a bit like playing Russian roulette because consumers have become more sophisticated in spotting imposter reviews, and government regulators have become more aggressive in weeding out phony posts.
Here are several reasons why a good review can backfire if it's placed as part of a fake review strategy:
Fake reviews destroy trust. If your business is outed for using imposter reviews and you're caught doing it, there's no way that it will translate into anything good for your customer base. Trust is a key element in a highly competitive online environment, and when you've lost that trust, chances are you've lost that customer forever.
Fake reviews can kill your bottom line. Not only are scam reviews a bad idea, if a business is caught there's a good chance they may be looking at fines and penalties. Larger businesses have been fined millions of dollars for posting false reviews and false online advertising. Smaller online businesses may not be able to weather the financial penalties they could incur if they are caught in a fake review scheme.
Fake reviews generally sound too good to be true. Faced with a barrage of online information, consumers have become savvier than ever. Many are becoming experts at spotting reviews that sound contrived or too good to be true. Even if you manage to draw customers based on glowing scam reviews, customers will know they've been had when they see the reality of your business. And when that happens, they will skew your business with a fresh set of negative online reviews that will do all kinds of damage to your credibility and your bottom line.
Fake reviews kill your local search performance. If your reviews are tagged as false, your local search performance will suffer and your online visibility will drop like a stone. You'll lose valuable opportunities to connect with new customers and be unable to deliver an experience that matches their expectations.

Get the Most Value for Your Investment

Don't underestimate the influence your website has on those who visit it. Nothing is going to get them to leave faster than slow loading pages or colors that are hard on the eyes. You need something that is professional, inviting, and keeps them looking around. They should be able to navigate with ease, reach customer service, and complete an order hassle free.
In order to make this happen, you need efficient website development services. This is just too important to trust to anyone without researching them and talking to them. You need to verify you are going to gain significant value for the investment you make. It may surprise you how affordable a great website can be when you have the right developer on your side.
Layout
Think about the overall layout you wish to share with your target audience. This information should also be shared with the website development services you consider for the job. If you aren't sure what you would like, allow them to come up with some concepts and share them with you. By hiring an expert, you can allow them to create it all for you.
If you already have a website, they can talk to you about what needs to be changed to make it perfect. If you don't have one, they can get it right for you from the very beginning. Once a layout is approved, they can share with you how long it will take to create it. Everything will be tested before it is launched and you can also ask for any changes before it goes live.
Checkout
Don't make the mistake of a poor checkout area for your products or services. You don't want to miss out on the sale because the customer gets frustrated at that point. The checkout should give them options, be secure for them to enter their information, and allow them to complete their purchase in the least amount of time.
Your website development services can make this possible. The use of drop down menus to allow them to select special offers, shipping choices, and other specifics for their purchase will be appreciated. This also helps reduce the risk of errors with the orders that have to later be corrected.
Customer Service
Make sure there is a simple and straightforward process in place for your visitors to contact customer service. This includes those who have made a purchase and those who may have questions before they place their order. Talk to your website development services about the importance of this and find out what they can do for you.
The convenience of shopping online is appreciated by customers, but the biggest complaint is a lack of quality customer service. Make sure they can reach out by phone, email, or even online chat systems to get help when they need it. This will help you to build a loyal customer base!
Updates
Any great website is going to continue to be a work in progress. There should be updates including security, adding new information, adding new products or services, and changes to keep up with consumer demands. Make sure the website development services are going to stick with you for the long term and assist you with such updates.
The goal is to obtain website development services that allow you to have a website you can be proud of. It is professional, highly functional, and your visitors are happy with it. At the same time, they should offer all of this behind the scenes help at a price that is reasonable. Compare what is offered to ensure you get the best possible website!

Sabotage of The NBN By Turnbull

This was to be a great infrastructure. National broadband services to every home and business in Australia. Originally proposed by the Rudd-Gillard government in 2010 it was eventually commenced with promises of 100 Mbit/sec to increase to 1Gbit/s. While the Rudd government had proposed a modern optical fibre telecommunications network to provide it to 93% of population but it was later changed to copper to the node.
It became a major factor in the 2013 election. Both Tony Abbott, the then leader of the opposition, and Malcolm Turnbull, who was the shadow minister for communications and broadband, combined to state that in government they would abolish the NBN. They later changed this to being agnostic towards it, which happened in 2012.
When Abbott was elected in 2013 fibre was allowed only to those areas already being worked on. Then they paused new developments. As Minister of Communications Turnbull formed a number of committees to discuss future directions. The public were kept on tender-hooks waiting for an outcome.
The Minister invested in copper and implemented the multi-technological mx (MTM). He promised earlier delivery than was previously promised along with considerable savings. The adopted change saw an adoption of the mixed copper-optical technology with fibre to the node (FTTN)
The sabotage of the system has seen that it is so flawed that complaints about non-delivery of services is plaguing the telecom and ISP providers. Telstra is the owner of all telephone exchanges throughout Australia, so it is the main port of call for disgruntled purchasers of the NBN. Instead of a first-rate Internet service we have ended up with a totally flawed second-rate one that is far from serviceable.
What can be done about it? Nothing, is the word from the Labour Party, who first began to lay out the NBN. The CEO of the network admitted that 15% of it customers are receiving an inferior service. Some ISP's are sticking to the VDSL connection, which is what I have. It is fast, efficient, and reliable.
So what did the Australian public get from Turnbull and Abbott? That is something for voters to decide at the next election, which may be sooner than later. The lies told by these politicians has really hurt the country. They still get paid but we, the Internet users, are the poorer for their presence.

Origin of the Internet and How It Works

The Internet originated in the late 1960s when the United States developed ARPAnet - Advanced Research Projects Agency network - a system of computers able to survive, even if partially, after a bomb attack.
That system was made by a lot of computers connected together, like a web.
That web was divided in LAN - Local Area Networks.
Those computers were able to communicate with each other even is some of them were out of service. From that time the Internet is by now world wide, or WWW - World Wide Web
The protocol that rules all these computers is TCP/IP:
TCP = Transmission Control Protocol
IP = Internet Protocol
The wonderful characteristic of this protocol is the way it deals with the information sent and received. The normal phone transmission works in this way:
From point A directly to point B, using cable or radio connection. So if something wrong happens to the radio transmitter or to the cable, the communication is impossible.
With the TCP/IP protocol, on the contrary, the connection from A to B is not direct.
The information (file) that we want to send is divided in several parts, packets, and each packet has a bit of the whole information.
Each packet has a header and a footer, where are store all the indication for delivery what is being sent (Address, sender, number of the packet).
These packets follow different paths of the net, passing through different computers, so even if some of them are not working, the file uses the ones which are working properly. The computers may be all over the world. After this trip the file is rebuilt in the right way.
For instance, if we send a file to a computer that is in a house close to our office, may be that before arriving to destination, it goes to Europe and back.
To try to understand just a bit this system, we can do this very simple example:
We want to send a letter to someone. Instead of sending just one sheet of paper, we could send 6 sheets. Each one contains 1/6 of the whole letter.
On the 6 envelopes we write the sender, the address of the receiving person and the number of the letter (Letter n. 1, letter n.2, and so on).
Then we can send all this letters, from several Post Office or from just one.
The person who gets all these letters, has to follows the number on each letters (1,2, 3...) to be able to read the whole message.
This is good also for safety: if someone gets some letters, he has only part of the message not the whole message.

E-Trans and DEEP E-Bidding Portals for Electronic Biddings and E-Reverse Auction

Beginning from scratch in the post-independence period, the power sector of India has indeed evolved to be one of the most diversified energy sectors of the world. Its compliance with the gradual advancement in technologies and adopting effective and advantageous measures has brought it to this stature.
In a recent development, the Power Sector of India under the dynamic leadership of Shri. Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of State for Power, Coal, and Non- Renewable Energy, gave a nod for the execution of the tariff based reverse auction process for the transmission sector on August 17th, 2016. He simultaneously launched several online portals for electronic bidding of transmission projects.
The online internet portals named e-trans and DEEP (Discovery of Efficient Energy Price) have been developed by the Rural Electrification Corporation Transmission Projects Company Limited (RECTPCL), a subsidiary of REC Ltd. Their launch confirms the transition of the manual auction process to an electronic mode for determining lowest bids on projects and also aims at enhancing transparency, fair play, and uniformity in the power transmission sector, by initiating a nationwide procurement process.
The move also welcomes bids from the private and public sector companies to engage in inter-state power transmissions projects. The DEEP e-Bidding portal allows a time period of 1-5 years for purchasing power. Earlier this time period extended only from one day to one year. However, this time the facility has been prolonged for long-term power purchase beyond five years. The primary reason as to why the time period stands extended from 1-5 years is because the complete bidding process and cost of procuring power is expected to be cut down substantially, which may significantly benefit the end consumer.
To facilitate the process, and make the tariff based reverse auction a successful endeavor, a mobile application technology was developed in the name of "TARANG". It will be based on the lines of coal sector for enabling better price discovery for the new projects.
The App Tarang (Transmission App for Real-Time Monitoring and Growth), is a powerful weapon that assists in the tracking of upcoming new transmission projects and efficiently monitors the progress and growth of Intra and Inter States Transmission Systems spread across the nation. It is pioneered through a regulated and defined tariff mechanism as well as a Tariff Based Competitive Bidding Route. The app also provides information on transmission projects that are delayed/ not completed on time and also highlights the factors that are causing a hindrance in their completion.
Thus, on the whole, the process is a much sorted one, which aims at ensuring free flow in the system through the tools of accountability and transparency. Moulded in a very pragmatic and analytical approach, it focuses towards cutting down power costs significantly and boosting the confidence of investors and believes that the move will definitely yield a positive long term impact on the sector.
