1. Great Attitude is essential
One important thing to get right and keep a watch on is how you are viewing your situation, positively or in a negatively dominant state. Make it a habit to greet each day, situation, and everyone, as an ambassador of your purpose. The biggest challenge will always be self-management, and that includes attitude. Be positive and the best that you can be each day and you'll be among "the best of the best". Don't lose your great productive attitude due to an obstacle or a change of plans but positively overcome and continuously move forward.
2. Follow a tested and proven plan
Don't learn a new career by trial and error but by proven and strategic lessons and tasks taken with each lesson. Follow a specific plan that's time-tested and has a record of success. This can make all the difference and will save a lot of time. It is possible to self-teach and still be successful but following a tried and a proven path is time better spent and a better way to find a new career online. There will still be hurdles to get over and challenges of course but the chosen path is a compass to the stairway of success.
